As a result of the company\u2019s advertising campaign and mistranslation, Japanese women thought they were supposed to give men the chocolate candy, instead of the other way around. The custom has carried on in Japan, with an addition; White Day was established on March 14th<\/sup> as the day that men give candy to women.<\/p>\n
