UlatusCommunicate© brings all teams together (Global Project Teams, Ulatus’ Linguistic Leads, Internal Client Reviewers (ICRs), and Business Leads) through efficient online tools.
UlatusCommunicate is in charge of linguistic validation, helping stakeholders forget about searching for internal client reviewers and focus on other tactical needs. That way, Ulatus makes sure they don't cause delays and frustrations for all parties involved.
Ulatus makes sure reviewers don't alter the meaning of translations, introduce mistakes, fall into an editing black hole, or sit on under-review files for months. UlatusCommunicate boasts a team of highly qualified experts that will fulfill linguistic validation; an important role in the translation process, enabling clients to address quality concerns before they distribute content to their customers.
Through the use of UlatusCommunicate©, we are able to reduce the ‘soft costs’ of our clients by cutting the traditional learning curve associated with introducing professional linguistic teams into the overall “Glocalization” process.
During the process of localization, there is a stage in which an expert should be in charge of reviewing the localized content in order for it to be in optimal condition. Ulatus offers in-country third-party reviewers that work hand-in-hand with the client as a part of the workflow, attending to specific necessities relating to the locale or language pair. This is an efficient alternative to stakeholders who need an internal client reviewer to provide feedback, in order for the content to be perfectly adjusted to localization requirements. UlatusCommunicate provides native experts who leverage the most effective tools to execute the whole process in a swift and consistent way.
"Communicate" tool, via the cloud, connects the client's in-country reviewers and both, Ulatus' global project management team and in-country linguistic leads for each locale
Feedback is provided by the client’s ICRs via a bilingual file or through a Translation Management System
Queries are monitored via "Communicate" and then exported/ stored for future reuse
Utilizing the same linguistic leads and teams and the "Communicate" tool captures the style/preferences of the target audience instantly
If there are any issues flagged, the ICR may ask Ulatus' linguistic leads to re-review if any of the following ever occurs:
Evolution of our clients' "linguistic assets" (i.e. glossaries, style guides and translation memories)
Edits are automatically captured and incorporated back into the translation memories
Ulatus allows for one (1) round of preferential changes without incurring additional fees
Final Deliverable (*all fully localized materials are held for the client within a documentation repository)
I have been using Ulatus services regularly for some time now and their quality of work is really good. The style and accuracy with which they translated my various documents was exactly what I expected it to be. I am really impressed with their team who worked closely with me to translate our vision into reality.Desiree Lui, Abbott Informatics Asia Pacific Ltd.
When we approached Ulatus, we initially asked for literal translation. But when the authors reviewed the translation style, they wanted the text to be more fluent. So right in the middle of the project, Ulatus changed the style from literal to paraphrasing. We are so thankful to Ulatus for accommodating this change.Dr. Makoto Inoue, University Of Tokyo Press
Looking at the quality of the work that was produced, I could not have done any better. I know Japanese and I know linguistics, and looking at the quality of the work that was produced, I feel like I would not have done any better than this.
